Laser usage in the dentistry was first introduced in 1990, and over the years has been perfected.  The Gemini Evo's unique design has 3 modes utilizing two wavelengths for more versatility.

The diode laser is safe and effective for multiple uses in dentistry, including:

  -lengthening of crowns

  -reshaping gums for cosmetic purposes

  -removal of tissue attachment that restricts lip or tongue movement

  -reduction of bacteria associated with gingivitis and periodontitis (gum disease)

  -treatment of aphthous ulcers (canker sores)

  -treatment of herpetic lesions (cold sores)

  -pain relief from TMJ disorders
